← Back to the blogYou don't need an hour. You don't need a gym. 10 minutes of moving your body is better than zero minutes spent thinking about it.
The biggest barrier to training isn't knowing what to do. It's convincing yourself you have time to do it. Between work, family, and everything else going on, an hour-long gym session feels impossible most days.
So people do nothing instead. And nothing becomes the habit.
Social media has everyone thinking a workout needs to be 60 minutes of sweat, a protein shake, and a mirror selfie or it doesn't count. That's nonsense.
10 minutes of bodyweight exercises will get your heart rate up, move your joints through their full range, and give you a mental reset. That's a workout. It counts. And it adds up over time.
Your heart rate goes up. Blood moves around your body. Your head clears. That tight, heavy feeling loosens. You feel like you did something — because you did.
It's not about burning a certain number of calories. It's about breaking the pattern. The pattern of sitting, scrolling, feeling guilty, and promising yourself you'll start on Monday.
10 minutes breaks that pattern. And once you're moving, you usually don't want to stop at 10.
Open the app. Pick your time — 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes. Pick your focus area. Hit randomise. Your workout appears with every exercise demonstrated on video.
No scrolling through YouTube trying to find something decent. No decision fatigue. No thinking. Just press the button and go.
If you don't like what it gives you, hit reshuffle. New workout in two seconds. Different every time.
One perfect hour-long session means nothing if you don't do it again for three weeks. Five 10-minute sessions across the week will always beat that.
Your body responds to consistency, not heroics. Show up regularly, even if it's short, and the results come. That's not a sales pitch. That's how the body works.
You've got 10 minutes. Right now, probably. Open Core Buddy, hit randomise, and move. That's the whole secret.
