Our story
Two people, one promise — turn up for each other, week in, week out. Core Buddy is built on the same idea: someone in your corner, keeping you honest.
Ross Geldart
Music saved him first. Fitness followed.
Growing up, Ross lost years to alcohol and drugs. He knows what it feels like to be stuck, to wake up not recognising yourself, to think change isn't possible. The thing that actually pulled him back wasn't a gym — it was music production. The creative process gave him something to pour himself into, taught him patience and discipline, and showed him just how much mindset really matters. For the first time, he was building something instead of breaking himself down.
Fitness came after. Once his head was in the right place and he started treating his mind as the priority, looking after his body followed naturally — and that's exactly why Core Buddy is built around accountability instead of information. There's no right or wrong way to start. Just starting, having someone patient in your corner, and trusting that the body follows when the mind is ready.

The code behind Core Buddy was written by someone who needed it too
Ryan knows what it's like to have too much going on in your head. From a young age he fought his own battles — with alcohol, with drugs, with mental health, and with the kind of restless mind that never quite switches off. Fitness was the thing that channelled it all. It gave him structure, a rhythm to his days, and a way of living he could actually stand behind.
His dad walked that road beside him every step of the way. Today Ryan's a father and husband himself, still training, still showing up for the people who matter. Now he's pouring the same skills that pulled him back into every line of code in Core Buddy — so somebody else going through it finds the same way out he did.
